Reflections: The Art of Stephen Bradbury

(1996) Stephen Bradbury & David J. Howe, Paper Tiger, £12.99, pbk, 128pp. ISBN 1 85028 339 7

Reflections is about the career of the artist, coupled with an extensive collection of his artwork. He has done a large amount of book covers and everyone is sure to recognise at least one of them. I always think of these pictures as 'jewel-like', as his use of colour is simply outstanding, and what makes it more interesting is that he often explains certain techniques used and also describes the pressure of creating art for commission. Though the fantasy content is a bit high for my tastes, it's still a lovely book if you're a fan of beautiful pictures.
